Create Representative Account

You must be an owner or officer of the firm to complete this registration. Please provide the information requested below to register as a Representative. Upon successful registration, you will be allowed to access information and perform work on the Labor Online Services for authorized clients. If your firm has obligations in New York, you can access information and perform work for your firm with a separate online service business account. If you do not have an account, set up a Business Online Service account with the Tax Department. Then, upgrade your account with the Department of Labor to access Unemployment Insurance Online Services for your business.

	Filing Agent - Perform services on behalf of clients as a Filing Agent: View the UI Tax Rate, Submit quarterly UI return information, Receive electronic transmission of UI Tax rate.

Taxpayer ID	- your 9 digit employer idenification number.
EFIN	- your Electronic Filer Identification Number as provided by the IRS for your Taxpayer ID; this is required to create an account.
Employer Registration Number	- Enter the client's Employer Registration Number that was assigned by the New York State Department of Labor. The Employer Registration Number is 7 numeric characters.
Unemployment Insurance(UI) Business Service(s)	- Select the UI Business Service(s) you will be performing on behalf of your clients:
